I am finding it impossible to find Brody his requested Spiderman costume for Halloween...They are either too big, too small, alternate color black Spiderman, or $30 and full of fake muscles. No, no, no and no. And NOW, just to make it easier on mom (:P), he insists on being Spiderman...dressed as a pumpkin.

You Know You're A Stay At Home Mom ( When )

Brody and I have matching bruises.
One on each shin.
One big one on the right and one small one on the left.
I have no idea where mine came from.
He's 3, he falls down about a bajillion times a day, and when he isnt falling down he's crashing into things, so the origins of his bruises are no great mystery.
He really needs a better example than his mother when it comes to the fine art of walking.

Tomorrow Brody is going to have a party at Chuck E Cheese, thanks to his fabulous Aunt Laurie and his favorite cousins, Lily and Daisy.
We were going to have a park party on Saturday, but a bunch of people couldn't make it. Since Laurie was taking him to Chuck E Cheese anyway, they decided to make it the official party. Fine by me, since it's inside and mosquitos outside think I am delicious.

The husband sold plasma so we could afford Brodys birthday presents. (Sad, I know.)
His list was as follows:
- A red balloon
- A purple notebook
- A computer
- A camera
- A bath robe (???)
- A new pen for his aquadoodle

So I picked up a $20 V-tech laptop. It's for kids 3+, so it will probably be a little beyond him at the moment, but I don't think that will stop him from having fun with it. I also got a purple notebook and some of the fat Ticonderoga #2 pencils. Then I had to get a little pencil sharpener with a hole big enough to sharpen the fat pencils. :P He is also getting a little Wubbzy figurine from the TV show "Wow Wow Wubbzy" because it is cute and it was cheap and he loves that show to death. We have to watch it every day...OR ELSE!
I have no clue what any of his Aunts got him.

We read the books my darling dearest sister bought him for his birthday. Scardey Squirrel was a little too old for him, but I thought it was funny. :P And he payed attention to the whole thing, so it wasn't bad. His favorite by far though was good old "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". :) What good taste he has. :) He is going to wear his new monster outfit to the party tomorrow. Because it is awesome.

Sigh. My baby is 3.

A few weeks ago, I finally got Brody to give the correct answer to the commonly asked ( question: )

Jack has ceased using his normal baby cry when he is annoyed and switched to some super sonic squeal that only dogs can hear.
Most.
Annoying.
(Non) Sound.
Ever.
But my sister in laws dogs sure are interested in him now...

Tomorrow I am planning on breaking my vegetarian streak for one night.
Because it is mothers day.
And I demand we go to the china buffet.
I am not going anywhere near Chinese food without eating General Tsos Chicken or Crab Rangoons.
It's just not happening.
Somehow I made it through the pizza buffet without eating meat. But that is probably because my favorite pizza toppings are mushrooms and olives, and despite the place being really busy I am pretty sure I was the only one eating the veggie pizza.

Mmm.

Not much is going on this morning. Oh, except my children are weird.
Brody is currently obsessed with Stephen Colbert. He keeps asking to watch the Colbert Report for his TV time. I tried to have a discussion with him about plain old growly bears, but he wanted to switch it over to Colberts. :P
Jacks idea of the best time ever is to be bounced on my lap while being sung the manwich ditty. No other song with do. You don't have to be a witch either, its true. :P
